Event
An event is a specific occurrence within a case: an individual incident, investigation, or development that contributes to an ongoing ESG controversy.
Where a case represents the full arc of a controversy, an event captures a single moment in it.
For example, in a case about labor rights violations, events might include the initial allegations, a regulatory investigation, and a court ruling.
Events carry an intensity score reflecting the severity of the occurrence, which feeds into the CES score.
